For the rest of the week I have been working on my next book which is about avoiding working mum guilt. The publishing date is in my diary and I’m working on the basis of ‘little and often’. Probably the most clichéd part of last week’s ‘playlist’ is ‘Reach for the Stars’ by S Club 7 which is the motto of my future book empire Virtually All Sorts.
pre-eclampsia, diary, complicated, pregnancy, charity, ebook, true story, playlist, shuffle, Bjork, working mum guilt, book, S Club 7, Abba, music, Jungle Book, friends
‘Thank you for the Music’ by Abba is next on last week’s playlist purely for the fact that I could never go a day without listening to music and it creates so many memories. It’s been a blissfully relaxing weekend. One where hubby wasn’t working. We all needed to relax after a week that has been anything but ‘oh so quiet’ and what better song to hear played on Mother’s Day than ‘Mama’ by The Spice Girls? Even better that we didn’t wake up until 9 am! Our little-big bear happily dozed until then too. Result!! I can’t remember the last time I slept until 9 am…
Last on the playlist is the song in Jungle Book, ‘We’re Your Friends’, not only because it’s our little-big bear’s favourite film of the moment (for the last 2 months!) but also because a good chat with friends always brightens up my week!
Read my emotional and inspiring true story ‘Diary of a Complicated Pregnancy’. 50% of sales to the charity Action on Pre-Eclampsia. Thank you.
