So last night I went to bed with a golf ball in my throat. I had a bath and snuggled down in bed. I slept reasonably in the end and woke up (phew!) feeling okayish. I battled on, dropped our little bear off with her animal friends and went to work. Bad move! I should've just gone sick. After an hour or so of talking on the phone and speaking to people face to face, my throat was giving up. And fast. I couldn't get into the doctors so decided the walk in centre was the only option. After a bit of prodding in my ear, saying 'aaah' and coughing and spluttering over the nurse type person, I was told to rest and dose myself up. Easier said then done with a little bear to pick up and a hubby at work!
As I type, my bath is cooling just enough to make it perfect, the night nurse is ready and waiting. The tablet form, not the male form lol. Tomorrow is another day :) When I'm 100% better I'm going to get on my bike again...
I've watched the Piers Morgan Life Stories on Jason Donovan tonight. Good old Sky+ When I was a teen, there wasn't a single spec of wallpaper to be seen for Jason Donovan posters. Seriously. I WAS his biggest fan. All teenagers say that but I was! It was a bit odd to read his biography a few years ago and find that my hero had been a drug addict. A drug addict that very nearly died! The bubble was burst when I read that book, I can tell you. So I watched that programme tonight with interest and have a great deal of respect for Jason D now. He was very honest and it brought loads of memories back!
There seems to be a theme for these blogs so far... crushes! lol ;p
On another note, I've downloaded a few more pictures of my jewellery handiwork :)
